Variables include age, sex, body mass index (BMI), HbA1c levels, fasting glucose, and LDL cholesterol. The dataset simulates an observational study linked to the project “Measuring hepatic polyol pathway activity and connecting it with lipogenic glucose metabolism in Type 2 Diabetes patients” (ref. 2023.11517.PEX).
